Getting Started

1. Activate your account

An administrator will send you an invitation via e-mail to activate your account (check your spam/junk folder in case it accidentally ends up in there). Simply follow the link to set your password and login for the first time. Whenever you’d like to login to view financial reports or event updates, simply go to www.permissionclick.com and enter your e-mail and password in the top right-hand corner.

2. Connect your bank account for online payment collection

If your school hasn’t already, arranging payment collection is quick and easy! Login to Permission Click as an Administrator and visit 'Admin' > 'Setup Payment Collection', and click on 'Connect with Stripe'. Have your bank account information handy (info on a void cheque will do) along with your 9-digit Business Number (CRA account number). Funds you collect will be deposited directly into your bank account.

3. Set your Stripe deposit frequency

Once you’re setup to receive online payments, bank deposits will be made daily. You can change this frequency at any time. To change the frequency of these deposits to weekly or even monthly deposits, simply follow these steps:

  1. Login to your Stripe account at dashboard.stripe.com/login
  2. Beside your account name, click on the downward arrow to access your account settings
  3. Select the 'Transfers' tab and adjust your transfer schedule


Deposit Report

What is it used for?

When month end arrives, the ‘Deposit Report’ will be your bread and butter for reconciling your bank statement.

Where do I find it?

You can access the report for any given date range in 'Admin' under 'Reports'. The report will export to Excel and be separated into two tabs. The first is the ‘Deposit Summary’ which is a quick snapshot of the funds collected during the date range specified.

The second tab is the ‘Deposit Details’ tab. It will show you on which date(s) funds hit your bank account. The funds collected are broken down by event name so you know exactly which event the funds belong to. Within an event, you may have different tickets from which you received payments. The report will break down the amount collected from each ticket type also.
