What is the difference between “you collect” and “parent pays”?

When setting up a ticket, you must decide whether you want to pass fees on to the purchaser or absorb the fees. Through the “You Collect” and “Parent Pays,” you will configure this.

“You Collect” (A) indicates the dollar amount that will be deposited into your bank account after processing fees. “Parent Pays” (B) indicates the dollar amount that the parent will pay. This is also the only amount that respondents will see by default.

You may choose to show or hide whether parents see the fees or not by clicking on the blue gear at the top right corner of the ticket configuration box.
